Malaysia-China photo exhibition officially kicked off


For the next two weeks, the Malaysia-China People's Friendship Exhibition is being held at Wisma MCA in Kuala Lumpur in hopes of reinforcing bilateral ties between China and Malaysia.

Organised by Xin Hua News Agency from 12-30 June 2012 and exclusively sponsored by Chinese property developer Country Garden, the exhibition was launched on Tuesday in an official ceremony graced by Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Chia Xi and Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon as well as about 500 guests comprising dignitaries, diplomats, business professionals and students from both countries.

Speaking at the launch, Kayson Yuan who is Regional President of Country Garden said: "Via this exhibition, we can witness the history development process of the relationship between Malaysia and China."

Yuan added that after the exhibition period in Malaysia, all the photos will brought on an exhibition tour in over 100 projects of our company to show the good relationship between Malaysia and China to some 500,000 Country Garden home owners.The Malaysia-China People's Friendship Photo Exhibition is held in conjunction with the 38th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China.

Subjects for the photo exhibition are 'Leaders close exchanges between Malaysia and China', 'Enterprise investment activities between Malaysia and China', 'Young students exchanges between Malaysia and China', 'The cultural exchanges between Malaysia and China' and 'China's modernisation development achievements'.
